For the UK market

Overall- person (with a bit of objective)- Employers want to know who YOU are…they know the objective view, they know the general idea of resumes. When people try to be objective, they all sound alike and Employers look for personality when hiring. So be personal- but not TOO personal, remember you have to be professional too.

Hi Ann,

From my view, there are 3 ways to serve a company.

* write copy
* provide marketing consultancy, and
* provide organizational/procedural consultancy

That third is 'project management' (in board market terms).

As an Executive Assistant you probably don't deal too much (directly) with copywriting or marketing, which means project management is likely how you might best serve the company.

Which is good for you because project management is a high value / big market place.

If I were you, I wouldn't waste my time getting a silly piece of paper that says, "Hey, I'm certified". I'd simply upgrade my organizational skills to meet the requirements, as per the demands of the job.

I highly recommend two places for getting organizational skills:

#1: http://www.organizedlivingworld.com
#2: http://www.web3Efficiency.com

The second site is more for personal productivity where as the first site will probably give you the most benefit in terms of getting organized and being successful in the corporate world. You'd probably do well to subscribe to the RSS feeds for both.

I expect this might help you in some aspect Ann.

Highest Regards

As the question suggests, these need to be your own personal reasons for pursuing this kind of difficult course. You are meant to show you have thought about it and are doing it for the right reasons.
Will it help your own performance in the line of business you are in? Will it in some way help your area or country to have more qualified business professionals? Do you want to go as far as you can in one particular field or economic sector?
That kind of thing…….

What are the main objectives of a personal banker?

Posted by roythom On August - 14 - 2008

basically to give you a real person to contact if you have problems or questions. As there is no additional cost to interact with this person, why not get to know them? They will however, make sure you are aware of all of the services of their particular bank, such as credit cards, loans, asset management, trust management, lock boxes, etc. (read they will try to sell you more of their services — not necessarily a bad thing). Most banks don't assign a personal banker unless you or your family has a substantial amount on deposit, or unless your checking account is of a certain size.
hope this helps
