    Yes, yes he does. Just watch the Good Charlotte at Brixton Academy DVD. I saw them live a few years ago in Melbourne. Joel's voice is completely synthesized on the records, it's actually all rough.

    they look like a boyband.. haha! especially joel when singing with his hand gestures. but this performance including the jumping thing is really awesome! if this video was taken 1999 or 2000, you can't blame them.. all boybands were "in" during those years.. haha!

    good charlotte is a really great band. I have all of their albums. their self titled "Good Charlotte" album is the best. Until now im still listening to it..
